PEACE IN THE STREETS
Campaigns
#1: The Peacekeepers will clear negative energy from Oakland through the use of African rituals to ground our community, erase negative energy, and assure new beginnings.
#2: Peace In the Streets will use the Colors of Africa - red for blood shed, black for the
color of our skin and green for the hope of promise, renewal and connection to the land.
#3: Expansion of Adamika Village Credible Messengers, the Violence Prevention Coalition, who offer the community vital resources while promoting peace with the removal of guns from the community.
#4: Circle of Peace - At the end of every month, people will gather at Lake Merritt from
8:00pm to 8:30pm to reflect, pray, and meditate for peace.
#5: Neighborhood Beautification will occur as we shift negative messages, consciousness,
and beautify the community with Vision Quilt posters, TRUCE signage, and sanctify hotspots
with African rituals.
#6: Remember Their Names - Monthly events to honor and memorialize homicide victims.
#7: TRUCE = TRUST
Spreading the message that Truce and Trust are the Pathways to Peace
