East Oakland Entrepreneurship Forum is looking for short term field support in coordinating delivery of PPE and supplies to 50+ businesses in East Oakland.
Here are the details:
One or two helpers (depending on availability) - see planned dates and hours below.
Requirements: Valid CA drivers license
Comfortable driving a van or small box truck
Can lift 40 pounds repeatedly
Good English for internal communication. Bilingual spanish or other language is a plus.
Pick up vehicle each day, drive to materials depot
Load vehicle with our team
Dispatch in the field, and support delivery / assessment (our team will lead, this person will support) - unload kits for businesses, place signage, dispensers, sneeze guards, etc. as needed. Communicate with team lead and business owner/manager and staff.
Drop off unused materials and other people to materials depot
Return vehicle to its location
Observe COVID-19 safety prototocols (masks, hand washing and sanitizing, safer materials handling) to minimize risk of transmission to / from business clients, staff, etc.
Tue - Thu, 9am-5pm (hours may vary as we schedule businesses for service:
12/1 - 12/3, 12/8-12/10, 12/15-17. Possible other days as schedule needs evolve.
Pay is $25/hr, paid as 1099 contractor for each day's service.
